The Holy Cross Academy Extended Care program provides a safe and enjoyable environment where your child is able to play with his or her friends and make new friends both before and after school hours. The program provides age appropriate games and toys that children can use, or they may bring something from home that they may want to share with the other children. A place also is provided for students to do their homework and basic school supplies are available for students to use.
The Before School Program is offered beginning the first day of school and throughout the year, except on days when a school delay is called. The program begins at 7 AM with dismissal to the classrooms at 8: 10 AM for the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students and at 8:15 AM for the primary grade students. For the safety of your children, all students must be accompanied by an adult into the school building via the side door entrance to the cafeteria and be signed in.
The After School Program is offered beginning the first day of school and throughout the year, from 2:55-6 PM, except on half days or when an emergency dismissal is called. We ask that each child bring a snack every day. If a child doesn't bring a snack, there are some available each day for purchase for $.50 each. Snack fees will be added to each child's extended care bill at the end of each week. For the safety of your children, all students must be picked up in the cafeteria on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and in the school gymnasium on Tuesdays and Thursdays and signed out by an adult in the presence of a staff member.
